eBook vs. Print Sales

Sales of ebooks increased 146% during May, more than a 160% increase over the same time period in 2010. With the exception of a few markets, such as YA, print book sales fell on average 38%.

eBooks vs. Print Books

Why publish for eReaders? First of all, eBooks are outselling printed books and at far lower pricing. Print books are expensive to produce, inventories need to be maintained and the process is more complicated, and time-consuming. In most cases, with an eReader, you can sample much of the work before deciding if you want to buy it. There are also free works, including some of mine, available to read with eReaders.

Soon, I will announce the availability of my works, which will be distributed to Apple iBookstore, Sony, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Diesel, Stanza, Aldiko, Amazon and others.
